Copenhell, Denmark’s largest rock and metal music festival, has announced its first 29 names for its 2027 season.
The festival is held every year at Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. It was founded in 2010 and has since been a mainstay of the Danish music festival season.
The 2027 season will see the festival headlined by the American rock band Faith No More and will also feature names such as Judas Priest, Pierce the Veil, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Headlined by Faith No More
The headliner of the festival, Faith No More, is well known for albums such as The Real Thing and Angel Dust and for singles such as “Epic.”
The band debuted in 1979 and has returned once before, splitting up again in 2021. However, earlier this year, they announced they would return to touring in 2027.
The English heavy metal band Judas Priest will also be on the lineup. This band is known for albums such as British Steel and Screaming for Vengeance.
Also at the top of the list is Pierce the Veil, an American rock band known for their album Collide with the Sky and their hit song “King for a Day.”
Other names on the lineup
Also featured on the lineup are names such as the Swedish death metal band Amon Amarth, the American rock band I Prevail, the American metalcore band Motionless in White, and the American rock band Clutch.
Other names include the German death metal band Kanonenfieber, the Swedish death metal band Orbit Culture, the American industrial metal band Static-X, the Belgian rock band Brutus, and the Swedish black metal band Watain.
Next on the list are the American heavy metal band Gwar, the American stoner rock band Fu Manchu, the Swedish deathcore band Humanity’s Last Breath, and the American hardcore punk band The Barbarians of California.
Also on the list are the American rock band Angel Du$t, the Canadian rock band Haywire, the Mexican heavy metal band Ladrones, and the English “geezercore” band Pintglass.
Also expected at Copenhell 2027 are the American queer punk band Babe Haven, the Swiss post-hardcore band Coilguns, the American genre-bending rock artist King Yosef, and the Norwegian hardcore band Ondt Blod.
Finishing out the list of names are the Norwegian hardcore band Feral Nature, the English anarcho-punk band Bad Breeding, the American hardcore punk band Tear Dungeon, and the Swedish thrash metal band Bloodstain.
2027 festival dates
The festival will run over four days in June 2027: from the 23rd to the 26th. Ticket sales open on the 9th of October.
