Let’s meet: International Café

Let’s meet: International Café is a monthly get-together in English at Solrød Bibliotek og Kulturhus, the library and culture centre in Solrød Strand. It is for internationals living in the area, and for Danes who have lived abroad themselves and know what it is like to start over in a new country.

The idea is simply to sit down over coffee or tea, swap stories and get to know other people in the same situation, so that newcomers have a friendly group nearby even when family is far away.

The café is run by a local volunteer as part of the library’s Do It Together programme, where residents organise their own activities in the building.
