English-language news for internationals in Denmark

Imprint

The information on this page is what Danish law requires a news website to show about who publishes it and who is responsible for it.

Publisher

We publish under the name The Danish Dispatch.

Responsible editor

Editor-in-chief and responsible editor (ansvarshavende redaktør) under the Danish Media Liability Act (medieansvarsloven), sections 5–8: Jonas Laursen. He is registered with Pressenævnet as our responsible editor.

As the Media Liability Act requires, we keep a copy of everything we publish for at least six months (section 7). If someone complains or takes legal action about an article, we keep it until six months after the case is decided.

Press ethics

The Danish Dispatch is registered with the Danish Press Council (Pressenævnet) under section 8 of the Danish Media Liability Act (medieansvarsloven). You can see us on the Press Council’s list of registered media. We follow the Danish guidelines for sound press ethics, and the Press Council supervises this. You can complain to the Press Council about what we publish. See our complaints page.
